Demo Report – 16 & 18 December

Yet again SPEAK supporters were out in the city of Oxford to highlight the atrocities carried out on animals by Oxford University. Whether demonstrating outside the university’s new lab or collecting signatures in the city centre, the message from SPEAK is loud and clear - animal experiments will not be tolerated, and the response from the public shows this feeling is shared by many.

Animals are not simply property to be used, hurt and discarded on the whims of researchers. They are feeling creatures who deserve so much more than to be treated like mere objects that are here for our convenience.

SPEAK will be here fighting for the laboratory animals imprisoned and suffering inside Oxford University’s labs until the day there are no more animals in there.
