Information Stall - Saturday 19th January

SPEAK supporters will be holding information stalls on a regular basis again and again in Oxford City Center to speak to the public about the dodgy science and unethical practice of vivisection taking place within the walls of Oxford University.

The 'dodgy science' that campaigners are opposing, isn't based on information they have just plucked from thin air but hard evidence from proper scientists and not their poor cousins, the appallingly money obsessed vivisectors.

Speaking of vivisectors, the campaigners were approached today by someone who said they used to work in the industry and were told that most vivisectors realised that animal testing was a waste of time but couldn't say so on record as their careers depended on the public believing their lies.

Of course, campaigners who are opposing the new animal lab on South Parks Road in Oxford know this only too well. It's just a pity that Oxford University aren’t willing to secure their place in history as the University that lead the way in proper scientific AND ethical medical research and in doing so, will probably secure their place in history as the University that time forgot.

'I abhor vivisection…. I know of no achievement through vivisection, no scientific discovery that could not have been obtained without such barbarism and cruelty.'
