With both sunshine and rain as company SPEAK supporters gathered at the edge of the exclusion zone on South Parks Road once again. It is known to SPEAK that Oxford University hates us being there, bringing their crimes of the torture and brutality of animals to the attention of everyone passing by.

The name of Oxford University is now synonymous with animal suffering and our presence is ruining their reputation as a place of academic excellence – people now see it as a place of pain and suffering. The university’s pathetic attempts of ‘ignore it and it will go away’ and then ‘sweep all the unpleasantness under the carpet’ is no longer an option, as they are beginning to realise.

They can try to ignore us as much as they want, but they can’t ignore the increasing numbers of horrified people who are turning against them as they learn about the fate of Felix at their hands. Oxford University can no longer ignore the fact that we will never abandon the animals who have no one else to fight for them – and we will fight them all the way.
